Patterson-Kelley’s Renovated Training Facility is Now Open for Business

East Stroudsburg, PA – Patterson-Kelley opens the doors of its newly redesigned training facility, to representatives, mechanical contractors, and engineers in the heating industry.

The new facility features a modern classroom that fits over 20 attendees, as well as a hands-on technical training lab that includes fully functional Patterson-Kelley heating equipment. The redesigned technical training lab will also support Patterson-Kelley’s newest products as they are introduced to the heating market during 2019-2020.

P-K recognized the need to modernize the training facility to create a formal learning environment and provide high-quality training to valued partners.

“The new training lab has been designed to support the learning environment with both lectures and hands-on application. This will help our partners gain knowledge on the latest Patterson-Kelley equipment and really understand how to optimize the customer experience.” Said Alan Rogers, Director of Engineering at Patterson-Kelley. “We have also modified the course materials to include current ‘real world’ scenarios, this makes it more challenging because we want our partners to be prepared in the field. The anticipated result is a higher quality training program and a more skilled technician, married together to help improve our business and the heating market.”

During Q3 of 2019, Patterson-Kelley will also be introducing a state-of-the-art steam training course that will allow partners to work on the P-K COMPACT®.

“There are very few steam training courses in the United States.” Rogers added, “Not all of our manufacturers’ representatives are familiar with steam equipment. The new steam course will enable participants to learn about the operations of steam equipment, helping them grow their P-K COMPACT® business through hands-on learning.”
