Chris Bushta retires from Patterson-Kelley after 39 years of excellent service. Chris began her journey at Patterson-Kelley in 1979 as the water heater division secretary. Shortly after, her hard work was recognized, and she became the Executive Assistant to Lynn Patterson, a third generation Patterson. To this day, she has worn many hats within the company and has worked closely with every employee at P-K.
One of her favorite memories at Patterson-Kelley was the addition of the boiler manufacturing division during the mid-1980’s. The first Patterson-Kelley boiler was shipped from France. Chris was tasked with translating French telegrams to the English language, as none of the employees understood French. She recalls taking the telegrams to the East Stroudsburg School District, where the French teacher would translate the telegrams for her.
Chris has been part of the continuous development of Patterson-Kelley but always found the way to remind employees about the company’s roots. For this reason, the P-K team is immensely proud of Chris’ hard work and dedication to the organization. We hope she can enjoy her free time by the pool during the summer and skiing during the winter.
Happy Retirement!
